Position Title and Location
Factory Manager – Zhuhai
Position Description:
1.Directs and oversees the organization's manufacturing processes.
2.Oversee equipment purchase, maintenance and layout.
3.Monitors and evaluates workflow and assembly methods and makes recommendations for process improvements.
4.Oversees staffing, scheduling and training for production.
5.Ensures manufacturing performance and quality goals are met.
6.To provide continuous supervision, control and training of manufacturing departments.
7.You will be responsible for driving efficiencies and controlling costs while maintaining product quality.
8.You will be accountable for production planning, supervising and of all manufacturing staff
9.Work closely with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Sales & Marketing, and Supply Chain to establish manufacturing build plan to support all R&D, clinical and commercial product needs.
10.Work closely with Supply Chain and R&D to lead materials and product cost reduction projects.
Past Experience:
1.Computer skills a must.
2.Excellent understanding of OHS.
3.Project management skills, including managing key project dates,, monitoring spend, driving and monitoring delivery dates and providing cost estimations
4.Manufacturing & Production control systems….Manufacturing practices such as Kanban JIT or TSA and lean manufacturing would be ideal.
5.Define manufacturing process, including layout, concepts, controls and statistical measures
6.Solid industrial engineering skills, including minimising cycle time and maximising labour and machine effectiveness to drive factory efficiency Working knowledge of MRP/ ERP systems and BOM structures in order to optimise efficient manufacturing and inventory management
7.Knowledge of new product realisation, including all DFX disciplines, risk assessment and management of risk assessment planning and issue resolution, logistics, scheduling and maintenance .
8.Production supervisor or manager experience.
9.Good understanding of manufacturing budget/resource forecasting and management.
10.Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field.
11.Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
12.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
13.Excellent people and communication skills. Fluent in English; fluency in Chinese is plus.
Education & Training:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.
